It was established in 1996 in Karaman, with the foundations laid by Mr. Ramazan ŞİMŞEK, who is currently our Honorary President. In its advanced technology facilities on a total area of 135,000 m2, 95,000 m2 of which is closed and 40,000 m2 is open; It started production as Biscuit, Chocolate, Cake, Wafer, Cracker, and with its innovative approach that has developed its business over time and steered the sector, it broke new ground with Bien Croissant and Twitto Twist Cracker varieties. Şimşek, which has always been the brand of innovations and firsts in its sector, has created a chain of products suitable for taste with over 350 varieties by constantly offering better to its consumers. As a flavor giant with an annual production capacity of 115,000 tons, it has proven to be a strong player on a global scale in its sector. Şimşek, which always draws attention with its quality and competitive products using the latest technologies, with an innovative perspective, creates added value by exporting to more than 100 countries by making its brand accepted in the world markets. Şimşek has grown with effort in a short period of 20 years, and since 8 years, it has become one of the top 500 companies in Turkey, and as of 2015, it has risen 21 places and taken its place in the 417th place, and has established a throne in the hearts of consumers. It has started with 200 employees 21 years ago, and today it creates employment with more than 1,500 employees and serves a wide consumer base both in the country and abroad. Despite his short resume, Şimşek has shown a rapid rise and has reached a contemporary level with its technological and modern investments. With these achievements, it will continue to create added value in the future, without compromising its principles, with a total of 2,500 employees, including investments in the Tourism sector, Livestock sector, Construction Sector and Food Service sector.

R&D


Innovation is the most fundamental feature that makes the Şimşek brand different and exciting. Therefore, the R&D department is one of the areas that Şimşek attaches great importance to and constantly invests in. With this perspective, Şimşek R&D team closely examines the world markets. It works to develop new flavors. New flavors produced in Şimşek R&D department, which is also called a mini production facility, can be converted into mass production as soon as possible with the flexible structuring of Şimşek production team.
